EPA RRP Certified Renovator Refresher Training Course

Who Needs This Training:

For individuals who have previously completed the Lead Renovator Initial Certification in compliance with the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule, this 4-hour Refresher Training Course is required every five years to maintain compliance with the RRP rule to renew your individual certification. 

Our course is taught by an experienced instructor, and will provide you with all the current information you need to successfully and safely perform RRP work in the field.

Skills Learned:

This 1/2-day (4-hour) class meets the requirements for refresher training in how to comply with EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule.

• Regulations
• Testing for Lead-Based Paint
• Review of Lead safe work practices
• Review of Prohibited Practices; Personal Protective Equipment and Dust Control
• Cleaning Activities & Checking your work
