COMMITTEE CHAIRMENS MEETING

The goal of this meeting is to let you know about your delegation of duties as a committee Chair/ Vice-Chair and as a guide for you as Chairperson.

1. Introduction of attendees
2. hand out & very brief explanation of chair person’s handout
3. very very brief overview from each chair person of their goals, events, and/or fundraising planned for year
4. strategic plan
5. what are the committees expectations of blsj/ the executive board/ or suggestions they might have
6. ambassador program and need for involvement of committee chair to insure involvement of members
7. budget
8. reporting at board of directors, and the need for cross communication, so each committee has an understanding of what the others are doing so there is no duplication of effort, and/or over burdening the membership w/ requests for contributions etc.
