203(k) and FannieMae HomeStyle Rehabilitation & Repair Loans Renovation Seminar

Workshop Overview

The FHA 203(k) was established in 1978 as part of Federal Government’s Community Reinvestment Act and can be used to accomplish rehabilitation and/or improvement of an existing one to four unit dwelling owner-occupied properties.

The FannieMae HomeStyle® provides a similar scope of service as the FHA 203(k) but is available not only owner-occupied properties, but also secondary homes or investment properties.

Both of the FHA 203(k) and the FannieMae HomeStyle® have been around a long time, but systematically underutilized UNTIL NOW.  Learn how you can leverage these loans for your customers who would like or require cosmetic and structural repairs to their home through these loan programs that are paid off over the life of a mortgage, as opposed to expensive and shorter term construction loans, home equity loans, 401(k) loans or personal savings to finance a renovation or rehabilitation repair project.
