DESCRIPTION:The Associates Committee's South Jersey Builder & Remodeler Series presents a different builder or remodeler at each of its meetings and gives members the opportunity to learn more about their company\, how they work with subcontractors and product suppliers\, and the preferred way for new vendors to approach them for business.    \n\n \n Guest Speaker:   \n\nJason Schaeffer\n\n\nPresident\, Schaeffer Homes\n\n\n\nFor three generations the Schaeffer family has been dedicated to the mission of providing the people of the Delaware Valley with quality- built\, affordably priced new homes.\nThomas Schaeffer Sr. learned the craft of woodworking in the Army in WWII\, and afterwards he immediately put his new skills to work in the homebuilding industry.\n\nThe second generation was led by Thomas "Tim" Schaeffer Jr. Tim worked with his father and many other builders throughout the region\, polishing his craft and building custom homes in Southern New Jersey. Tim eventually founded Tim Schaeffer Communities in 1989.\n\nThe building tradition passed to Tim's son\, Jason Thomas Schaeffer\, who worked his way through the trades while attending high school\, college and graduate business school. Along with the rest of the Family\, Jason continues the tradition as President of Schaeffer Family Homes.
